Reporting a psychic scam means bringing abusive practices to the attention of the competent authorities. In France, a dubious commercial practice is reported to the DGCCRF, the consumer protection authority, through SignalConso; fraudulent online content through the Pharos platform; coercive control or cult-like abuse to the Miviludes; and fraud through a criminal complaint. Keeping messages, invoices and bank statements helps. Shame often holds victims back, even though these mechanisms exist precisely for people acting in good faith.
