Psychic scam

A psychic scam is the commercial or fraudulent exploitation of a consultation to extract money from someone. Its warning signs are consistent: a claim of a curse, the evil eye or a danger, followed by a paid solution; a guaranteed result; manufactured urgency; a price that climbs along the way; requests for repeated payments, jewelry or photos; insistent follow-ups; advice to tell no one close. When these signs appear, the right response is to stop all payments and report what happened.
