Mindfulness
Also mindfulness meditation
Mindfulness is a form of meditation that consists of paying deliberate, non-judgmental attention to the present moment: sensations, thoughts, emotions. Rooted in Buddhist practices, it was adapted to a secular and medical setting by Jon Kabat-Zinn, who created a stress-reduction program in 1979. It is now used in psychology, with no necessary link to any belief.
