Grounding
Also rooting · to ground oneself
Grounding refers, in spirituality, to connecting with the earth and with one's body to regain stability, calm and presence. It is practiced through visualizing roots growing from the feet, walking barefoot, breathing or contact with nature, and is linked to the root chakra. Practitioners recommend it before and after energy work or a psychic session, so as not to stay “in one's head.”
