Capricorn

Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac, covering in tropical astrology the period from about December 21 or 22 to January 19 or 20. An earth sign, cardinal and feminine, it is ruled by Saturn; Mars is exalted there. It opens the winter. Tradition associates it with ambition, patience, endurance, a sense of responsibility, rigor and the ability to build for the long term. Its supposed downside is apparent coldness, rigidity and pessimism. It corresponds to the 10th house.
