Candles

Also ritual candle · intention candle · votive candle

In spirituality and magic, candles serve as a focus for an intention, a prayer or a ritual: the flame stands for light, presence and transformation. They are often given a meaning according to their color, for example white for peace, green for abundance, pink for affection. Lighting a candle is also a very old religious gesture. A candle should never be left burning unattended.
