Ace of Cups

The Ace of Cups is the first card of the suit of Cups, depicted in the Tarot de Marseille as a large ornate cup resembling a building or a chalice. In tarot reading, it is seen as the opening of the heart, budding love, generosity, emotional fullness or overflowing creativity. Reversed, for readers who take reversals into account, it suggests an excess, a disappointment or a held-back emotion.
