Ace

The Ace is the first pip card of each suit of the Minor Arcana, shown as a single, often monumental suit symbol. In tarot reading, it is seen as the pure principle of the suit in a state of potential: the Ace of Cups for emotional impulse, the Ace of Swords for clarity or decision, the Ace of Wands for energy, the Ace of Coins for a resource or material foundation. It is frequently interpreted as a beginning.
