Cups

Cups are one of the four suits of the Minor Arcana, depicted as cups or chalices in both the Tarot de Marseille and the Rider-Waite-Smith. The occult tradition most often links them to the element of Water and reads in them the emotional world: feelings, relationships, emotions, imagination and inner life. The suit corresponds to hearts in ordinary playing cards. A reading dominated by Cups is readily interpreted as a matter of the heart.
