Psychological tarot
Also therapeutic tarot · psychological approach to tarot
Psychological tarot is an approach that uses the cards as a tool for introspection and dialogue rather than prediction, often drawing on Carl Gustav Jung’s archetypes. It developed in the second half of the twentieth century, influenced notably by Alejandro Jodorowsky. Here the tarot serves as a mirror for putting a situation into words; it is in no way a substitute for psychological or medical care.
