Composite chart

The composite chart is a single chart built from two natal charts by calculating, for each planet and each point, the midpoint between the two positions. It is said to represent the relationship itself, as an entity distinct from the two people. A variant, the Davison chart, instead calculates the sky for an averaged date and place.
