Tarot reader

A tarot reader is a practitioner who specializes in reading the tarot, most often the Marseille Tarot or decks derived from it. Some align themselves with clairvoyance and read the arcana as messages about the future; others take a symbolic or psychological approach, in which the reading acts as a mirror for reflecting on a situation, with no predictive claim. This distinction is useful when choosing a session: it says what the session can offer, namely insight rather than a verdict.
