Petit Etteilla
Also 32-card Etteilla
The Petit Etteilla is a thirty-two-card cartomancy deck, derived from Etteilla’s method and in circulation from the nineteenth century, in which each card of an ordinary deck bears a written meaning for its upright and reversed positions. Although it carries the name of a tarot author, it is not a tarot: it belongs to cartomancy with a standard deck. It illustrates Etteilla’s lasting influence on card divination in France.
