Twelfth house

The twelfth house is the twelfth and last sector of the natal chart, located just before the Ascendant. It is associated with inner life, the unconscious, retreat, solitude whether chosen or imposed, hardship, and places of withdrawal such as hospitals or monasteries. Modern astrologers also see it as a realm of spirituality and compassion. By analogy it corresponds to Pisces.
