Mercury line

In palmistry, the Mercury line is a secondary line, often slanting, that rises toward the little finger. Tradition associates it with communication, business sense and, under the name of health line or hepatic line, with a person’s general condition. Many people do not have one. No reading of the hand can detect an illness or reveal the state of someone’s health: only a healthcare professional can do that, and any alarming interpretation of this line should be considered to have no medical value.
