Life line

In palmistry, the life line is the line that starts between the thumb and the index finger and curves down around the Mount of Venus toward the wrist. It is associated with vitality, energy and the major changes in a person’s life. Contrary to a persistent belief, serious palmists maintain that it does not indicate how long someone will live: a short line does not predict an early death. Any reading that claims to foretell an illness or a death should be considered irresponsible.
