Jupiter (astrology)

In astrology, Jupiter symbolizes expansion, confidence, luck, generosity, wisdom, faith and a sense of justice. It rules Sagittarius and, traditionally, Pisces; it is exalted in Cancer, in detriment in Gemini and Virgo, and in fall in Capricorn. Known as the “greater benefic,” it spends about a year in each sign and completes its cycle in roughly twelve years.
