52-card deck

The 52-card deck is the standard deck of four suits of thirteen cards, from ace to king, which part of the cartomancy tradition, especially in English-speaking countries and Italy, uses for divination. Compared with the 32-card deck, it adds the two through six, which also receive their own meaning. The two jokers of the 54-card deck are often removed or read as surprise cards. Meanings vary more from one author to another than with the piquet deck.
