Hearts (cartomancy)

Hearts are, in cartomancy with a standard deck, the suit of emotional life: love, friendship, family, the joys of home and shared feelings. According to tradition, a reading dominated by hearts points to a favorable climate on the human level. The ace of hearts often stands for the house or the home, the king and queen of hearts for kindly people or the querent, the jack of hearts for a young man or a lover. The suit is often likened to the tarot suit of Cups.
