Card of the day
Also daily card · daily draw · one-card reading
The card of the day is a single card drawn in the morning to shed light on the day ahead, as a theme, a piece of advice or something to watch for. Very popular among beginning tarot readers, it also serves as a learning exercise: in the evening, one looks back at how the card’s symbolism resonated with what was lived. Its scope is deliberately modest, an invitation to daily reflection rather than an announcement of what will happen.
