Star spread
Also five-pointed star spread · pentagram spread
The star spread places five or six cards at the points of a star, sometimes around a central card representing the querent or the heart of the question. Each point sheds light on one aspect, such as thoughts, emotions, action, obstacle or outcome, depending on the conventions chosen. Less codified than the Celtic cross, this spread leaves plenty of room for the reader’s own arrangement and suits questions in which several dimensions of a life are intertwined.
