Sixth sense
Also extrasensory perception · ESP
In everyday language, the sixth sense refers to a faculty of perception that would supplement the five senses and allow one to sense what is not visible. It is also called extrasensory perception, a phrase that comes from the parapsychology of the 1930s. For some, it is simply very keen intuition; for others, a psychic ability specific to psychics. Research on the subject has not produced any recognized demonstration.
