Vulnerable person
Also vulnerable querent · fragile person · vulnerable public
In clairvoyance, a vulnerable person is a querent whose situation limits their ability to step back: recent bereavement, a breakup, illness, isolation, old age, psychological distress, financial hardship. Sound ethics require heightened care toward them: short consultations, no alarming predictions, refusal to sell repeated services, referral to appropriate help. This is precisely the public that scams target, and French law punishes abuse of weakness committed against it.
