Mars (astrology)

In astrology, Mars symbolizes energy, action, desire, courage, self-assertion, combativeness and sexuality. It rules Aries and, traditionally, Scorpio; it is exalted in Capricorn, in detriment in Libra and Taurus, and in fall in Cancer. Called the “lesser malefic” by tradition, the planet is read today as a driving force, constructive or conflictual depending on how it is used. It travels around the zodiac in nearly two years.
