Time frame
Also timeframe · timing · time span of a reading
The time frame is the period a reading is meant to cover, ideally set before drawing: a few days, three months, a year. Readers generally consider that a reading sheds more light on the short and medium term, and they are wary of predictions tied to precise dates. Announcing an event for a fixed day is more a matter of dramatic effect than of careful reading, and should not weigh on any decision.
