Energy

In spiritual vocabulary, energy refers to a subtle life force said to animate living beings and flow between them, distinct from the energy measured by physics. Various traditions give it a name: prana in India, qi in China, ki in Japan. In clairvoyance, people speak of the “energies” of a person, a place or a situation to describe an atmosphere perceived intuitively. This meaning is symbolic and does not correspond to any measurable physical quantity.
