Deck

Deck is the usual word in card reading for a complete set of cards, whether a tarot or an oracle. One speaks of an “angel oracle deck” or a “Lenormand deck.” In French, where the English word is a common borrowing among enthusiasts, the native equivalent is simply jeu. Enthusiasts also use it when talking about a collection: owning several decks makes it possible to choose the one whose imagery best suits the question or the mood of the moment.
