Claircognizance

Claircognizance is the claimed ability to know something immediately and with certainty, without having seen, heard or deduced it. According to those who describe it, the information arrives as a ready-made certainty. The word has spread only recently in the vocabulary of spirituality, where the plainer phrase “clear knowing” is also found. It is hard to tell apart from intuition, and it is often the way a person experiences it, more than its content, that leads them to call it by this name.
