Psychic impression
Also impression · perception · practitioner's intuition
In clairvoyance, a psychic impression is the inner sense the practitioner says they perceive about a person or a situation, beyond the meaning of the divination tool alone. It may come as an image, an emotion or a conviction. Psychics describe it as the heart of their practice. An honest practitioner presents an impression as something to be tested against the person's reality, not as an established fact: that is the difference between opening a line of reflection and imposing a truth.
