Number 1

In numerology, the number 1 is the symbol of beginnings, initiative and self-assertion. It is associated with independence, willpower, the courage to break new ground and a taste for leadership. Its supposed pitfalls are authoritarianism, impatience or isolation. Linked to the masculine principle and to the Sun in many systems of correspondence, it marks, in a cycle of personal years, a period favorable to fresh starts and new projects.
