Imum Coeli

The Imum Coeli is the point of the natal chart opposite the Midheaven, at the lowest point of the wheel. In the usual house systems it marks the start of the fourth house. According to tradition, it relates to roots, the family of origin, home, a sense of belonging and private life, away from public view. Together with the Midheaven it forms the vertical axis of the chart.
