Humanistic astrology
Also psychological astrology
Humanistic astrology is a school developed in the 20th century, notably by Dane Rudhyar, that sets aside the prediction of events in favor of self-understanding and personal growth. It often borrows from psychology, especially from Jung. It has strongly influenced contemporary Western practice, which presents the chart as a set of potentials rather than as a destiny.
