Malergo, Dreams

Machine translation.

Hello,

I’m new to the site, but I had a dream that I remember (which is quite rare for me).
Here I am, I see myself in a large and beautiful house, the house of the man I love (we’ll call him Vincent), but with whom I have no connection (except at work). I see myself walking over to a large wooden closet and taking out a box: inside are documents, photos, letters, and handwritten notes by Vincent. In reality, Vincent lives in the house next to his parents’. I take a bundle of letters (from women, apparently: declarations of love made to him, written in purple). One letter in particular catches my attention: a list of women’s first names written in blue, and a handwritten annotation by Vincent: it’s my first name, written in red:
my first name + psych
In reality, I am indeed working with a therapist.
I am also looking at photos of Vincent when he was little.
then I woke up
Please help me understand.

Hello Malergo,

Seeing your own photo or those of others in a dream signifies that you are on a quest for the self, which could be said to mean that you are in search of truth, both about yourself and about others.
The letters may suggest that you are in love and anxious, hence this search for self; you want to understand what is happening inside you.

My regards
The magician.

Hello lemagicien,

Another dream I remember;
I see myself coming home and finding a neighbor (who I get along with well in real life) in my house; she has ironed the household linens and baked two cakes that are still cooling in the kitchen; on the kitchen table, there are still dirty dishes and eggshells. I come home with my husband and I am rather happy.
Change of effect: I see two unknown women arriving in the residential area, seemingly looking for someone’s house. One of the women approaches our kitchen window, and my husband opens the window to talk to her. She seems to know my husband, and I see them smiling and laughing together. I am furious and consumed by jealousy; I intervene by shouting at the woman, hurling every insult at her. She steps closer and slaps me through the open window. I am out of my mind: I grab her arm, bite her, and deliver a massive blow to her face; she collapses to the ground, unconscious. She gets up a little later and threatens me, to which I respond even more viciously. She then leaves for a house across the way, from which another woman emerges, saying, “We need to stay calm; there’s no point in getting worked up.”

Dreamlike channel surfing: I see myself with a college friend I haven’t seen in over 10 years; we’re getting ready to go to a party, but since we have to go through dark hallways and “creepy” places, we dress in sweatpants. We both move very quickly through the dark hallways, running and jumping to avoid any bad encounters. We arrive at the party where we change. I see myself wearing a beautiful long blue dress, just tied around the neck, leaving my shoulders and bare back exposed. There are a huge number of people and everyone is superbly dressed. It’s as if I was expected and I’m received with great ceremony, congratulating me for something I don’t know. I can’t recognize the faces.

Two dreams in one!! Thank you for helping me make sense of it all!!
It strikes me that I remember these dreams, given that I hardly ever remember my dreams!!

Hello Malergo,

Dreaming of women is generally a sign of hope and desire.
Based on this dream, I get the impression that you are seeking recognition on the feminine side.
The identification of others reflecting on your own image as a woman who is questioning herself.

To get more details about this dream, I would recommend you post a message addressed to our friend Ladysally, as she is the expert when it comes to dream interpretation.

With my regards
The magician.

Hello Ladysally,

I'm still a bit lost on the site, but I'll figure it out!! On the magician's advice, I'm reaching out to you for help interpreting this two-part dream. Thank you.

Hello malegro,

Coming home is a comeback, a return to the source

Neighbor: He rather represents the dreamer himself in certain aspects of his personality (and not always flattering ones).

When a dream evokes laundry, it concerns a family matter and, most often, quarrels, disagreements, or relational difficulties, as in the popular expression "to air one's dirty laundry in the family."

Cakes: sexual satisfaction, don’t hesitate to do whatever you’re in the mood for, an emotional or sexual hunger… a big appetite “set aside to cool down”

Kitchen table: an altar upon which beliefs, achievements, and hopes rest. A need for conviviality, the table of the elders, the table of negotiations

Two: opposites oppose and attract each other at the same time. Two is ambivalent, both a sign of harmony and a sign of conflict. White and black, masculine and feminine, matter and spirit…

Woman: It is common in women's dreams for the female character to be aggressive, miserable, or harmful… evidence that the dreamer mistreats her anima, neglecting her feminine energy of intuition, imagination, and creation, in favor of appearing logical, reasonable, objective, and so on.

A sense of inferiority that leads you to hurt yourself, jealousy is eating you up.

I intervene by shouting: either we hear him, or we push him: in any case, he accompanies a state of emotion, even of anxiety or suffering, of joy and relief. The dream shakes the dreamer to make him come out of his torpor

I insult…: the dream highlights an aggressiveness; insults in dreams are an amplified way of expressing and feeling.

She slaps me: a slap is not a gesture of tenderness that one gives or receives. It can symbolize an insult, a humiliation, a revenge, or the expression of a conflict that cannot be expressed verbally (when one does not know how to say it to the husband).

Biting: often painful, it is intended to draw the dreamer’s attention to a discordance between the conscious intellect and instinctive, sexual, and affective drives (e.g., a lack of sexual life).

One piece of advice: you must remain calm.
Summarize:

We need to go back to the source and look at the problem without getting angry. There is a couple situation more centered on the affective and sexual relationship that is not going the way you want it to, because there is a demand on your part (but you have been sidelined), so there is a need to negotiate and to know where you stand in relation to this situation. There are contradictions, ambivalences. You are hurting yourself, neglecting yourself, suppressing your intuitions in favor of appearing logical and reasonable while feeling inferior, and jealousy is eating you up. You are in the midst of a crisis of anxiety and suffering. Here, the dream is telling you: come out of your torpor. You are drawing attention to yourself in your dream because you do not express it in real life in front of this person. There is a lack of sexual life. One piece of advice it gives you is: stay calm!!

Best regards
Ladysally

Thank you, ladysally: I am carefully considering your interpretation because it reflects part of my thoughts... which shows that dreams carry a great deal of meaning!!

Yes, despite everything, dreams are quite a program.
With affection

Hello Ladysally,

Yes, it’s surprising: when I think back on those dreams, I realize how little I know myself.

Here’s another dream I remember from last night (it’s strange that I’m remembering my dreams these days, when usually I don’t recall anything at all!! It must be some unconscious message!!)

If you can help me once more: here it is: I see myself as a young girl in a somewhat strange era (around the 1950s, with cars passing by). I am in the street (the kind of street from western movies, with wooden houses) and I am with another girl (my sister in the dream). We hear noises, bikers speeding past us in a frenzy (young people being chased by the police). Cars too, speeding and overtaking us. We are afraid and we climb the wooden stairs to take refuge in the house. We close the door and we hear gunfire (we throw ourselves to the ground) and we are very afraid. Outside, I hear the voice of someone I know: I open the door and I glimpse a young man surrounded by the police, holding a weapon in his hand and ready to fire. I then go down and slowly approach the shooter: he stops firing and delicately I take the weapon from his hand. I recognize him: it is my childhood Affection who has been gone for a very long time: we throw ourselves into each other's arms and we weep in great sobs. He says to me, “I am sorry, sorry to find you now and to lose you immediately.” I then feel a great Peace within and I wake up.

Please tell me whether all this violence is still a reflection of my impulses.

Ladysally, I'm reposting this because there's a new development following the dream:
The dream described here almost “came true” today: let me tell you, I was subjected to an “attack” by a group of women at work (I’ll spare you the trivial and borderline subject), but I found myself having to “escape” in a way. I distanced myself to protect myself. The man I love came to comfort me and try to cheer me up: I felt much better having him by my side.
Amazing: could it be a prophetic dream? What do you think?

Hello malergo,

This is a reminder of a time: not yet healed, weaned from a painful situation, and not yet scarred over.

Hearing noise: it seems that hearing is a sense that functions during sleep. While sleeping, we perceive noises. Sometimes it signals danger, or to amplify the message it conveys and to energetically attract the dreamer's attention; sometimes it is news, information, or a rumor: "the rumor is that... etc... etc."

Biker, engine: the energy that motivates you and drives you forward, destiny, life accelerates considerably

Continue: the bandits, the aggressors, the unidentified presence that pursues us—this dark part of ourselves that we do not wish to acknowledge or that we dare not bring into the open. Painful memories frequently give rise to pursuit dreams, as if the lived experience were “continuing” in the unconscious, years later.

Fear: Fear in a dream caused by any given situation actually symbolizes a different, more psychological fear. The fear of being judged or found at fault is an essential beginning of self-awareness for personal growth.

Stairs: climbing: social ascent, success, and recognition

Door: access to other dimensions, possibility of opening toward… access to…

Rifle: The gunshot and anger go hand in hand, a sign of ill omen, as confirmed by crime reports, alas, this association: how many people, under the grip of intense anger, grab the rifle to shoot the neighbor. Therefore, associated with an aggressive impulse

Voice: A message intended for you… yet remain attentive. It is your intuition speaking.

A stranger: the unknown man or woman who appears in our dreams always symbolizes a part of ourselves that we are unaware of (a psychological tendency, a complex, a talent, etc.), and which we would benefit from discovering in order to continue our personal growth.

Arms: In most cases, a dream about arms refers to embracing or holding someone in one's arms; it is a matter of affection, highlighting an obvious lack thereof, excessive physical effort, and better times ahead due to your efforts.

Tears: the line separating happiness and sadness is very fragile, whether tears of joy or of sadness, tears of relief, etc.

summarize:

You need to heal from a situation that has not yet healed, so it is good to make a comeback. There is talk going around, information is out there, news is coming in. Destiny and life are accelerating considerably, yet the memories are there as if it were yesterday. You must not be afraid of this realization and move forward for your personal growth, because through this you climb the stairs, ascend socially, but sometimes you refuse to do so and close off all possibilities of opening up. Anger and rage are not beneficial to you, and you must suppress all these aggressive impulses and aggressiveness. We are human beings after all, and you have this need for affection that is lacking and failing you. The line between happiness and sadness is very fragile, so put things in perspective and relieve yourself as best you can, through relaxation, sports, and reiki.

Thank you, ladysally,

I understand better why I’ve been remembering my dreams lately: they are a warning message that I had been ignoring. You see, if I had known how to interpret that dream, I think I would have reacted differently to the aggressiveness of certain people (I would have protected myself).
You are right: I am being hard on myself right now, and I am missing the affection of the man I love (a complicated story: a love that seems increasingly difficult to make a reality, or even impossible, given all the mistakes I make—being mean to him when he shows me all his tenderness and care). I think I am trying to run away from what has not healed: this love that I must ultimately forget if I want to keep living (yet I know I will probably suffer terribly from the absence of this man by my side).

Tears, right now, I’m crying a lot: tears of sadness, mostly, because I love deeply and I know it’s pointless.

Thank you so much, ladysally: you are shedding light on my self-perception.

Hello malergo,
First of all, I would like to thank you for the interpretation of the dream. Next, I wish you much courage and perseverance for the healing process, which, I admit, is not easy. To conclude, I would ask you to stop mistreating yourself, because if no one else will cherish you or show compassion, it is your duty to take care of what nature and God have given us—“our capital” (our self). I send you my sincere regards and, while awaiting another dream, I wish you a beautiful day filled with grace and joy.
Affectionately :-*
Ladysally

Thanks, ladysally, for your very nice comment.
I’m going to try to see things with a better opinion of myself. I think that’s what I’m lacking: a huge lack of confidence in myself and my abilities.
I’ll tell you about another dream as soon as I have one that I remember.

A quick question about an old dream:
I saw myself in an inn, lying on a mattress under the arcades, facing an unknown young man. I picked out a gift for him: a fashionable jeans-style pair of pants with white ribbons tied in the front (rather funny for a man, isn’t it?). The young man was happy with the gift. Then a dream shift: I saw myself in a clearing in the middle of a forest: a shepherd’s hut with white sheep everywhere, and me talking to a shepherd (very tall, bearded, brown-haired, and very strong (a bit heavy)). I see myself reading a newspaper or a magazine and seeing the face of this shepherd.
Let’s say it was an original dream (a month ago).
If you have a little time, thank you. Otherwise, save me a small spot for the next dream…
Kisses.
See you later.

Hello Ladysally,

Well, this is getting strange: I remember a dream; perhaps it's a continuation of the ones you've already interpreted.

Here I am, I see myself traveling on a road (highway-style); I am in a large car (a family wagon loaded with suitcases); my husband is driving and I am the front passenger. My two children are in the back. We are “heading home.” On the way, we stop at my parents’ place, who welcome us for the night; we have breakfast and I eat bread and cheese (Camembert, I think) in the kitchen. There is no more bread, so I go to get some from the pantry (a stock of bread (baguettes, loaves) but I take a half of a round, white, soft loaf. I eat it with great pleasure. In the living room, I see my daughter playing with her uncle, who is sleeping on the floor on a mattress: she is playing by taking his blanket.

My husband then tells us to get ready to leave: the car is stuck because it is parked on a sports field where there is a long line of people waiting to do some sports (I think running or jumping). He tells me that we just need to wait for it to clear up.
There, my alarm went off.

Let me clarify a few details regarding reality:
What’s funny is that the apartment’s decor is that of one of my uncles, and the room where my brother slept was the one where a cousin of mine used to sleep, whom I loved enormously and who passed away very young (we loved each other back then with a very strong and “childish” affection, as we were teenagers). A friend who reads tarot cards told me that it was probably what she had seen: “the protection of a being from the afterlife who accompanies me.” I’m not very familiar with these things and honestly I know nothing about them, but it’s true that I sometimes see this cousin’s face in moments “when things are going wrong.” What do you think?

Thank you, Ladysally, for continuing to support me through these somewhat difficult times in my life; I am increasingly convinced that dreams are truly important to understand in order to better understand oneself.

Kisses and looking forward to reading from you.

Hello my beautiful malergo

I would like to thank you for your patience, as I had too much to do at the same time, so please excuse this delay.

Travel, vacation: travel and change, fate; the appearance of the word “vacation” in a dream often prompts the dreamer to attend to a matter rather than neglect it! The word comes from the Latin vacare, to be empty, and clearly evokes the idea of emptiness and idleness: on vacation, offices, schools, and factories are deserted… But the word has two contradictory meanings: 1) having nothing to do, 2) having time to attend to something. This is the meaning of “to attend to” one’s duties.

Luggage: they symbolize everything you carry with you, an image of your personality. I would even say what you “lug around,” because in dreams, they are generally cumbersome and prevent you from catching the train. Sometimes, too, they are lost or gutted on the platform, revealing all your belongings…
What are the "luggage" items that make up my life? Some are negative: flaws, behaviors contrary to my growth, prejudices, routines, unpleasant memories, painful experiences, family conflicts; others are positive: my strengths, my abilities, my ambitions, my projects, my qualities, my life experience... And when you add all of this up, you will understand why luggage in dreams is always bulky! Generally speaking, any issue with luggage indicates that you do not know how to adapt to a situation. It is therefore a dream of anxiety, accompanied by a feeling of inadequacy, maladjustment, and an inability to cope. This can escalate to anguish.

Car: symbolizes your “inner driving” It illustrates how you behave in social or family situations.

My husband is driving, I’m a passenger, and we’re heading home… you let yourself be guided, along with your children

A meal illustrates two desires: the desire to nourish (feeding both the body and the mind) and the desire to communicate, as it is generally a time for sharing.

Bread: a subject for reflection, the bread of life, sharing with others. The symbol of food essential to life, the need for relationship, communication, and deep friendship; dreams of bread reflect profound loneliness.

Living room: The living room, where one chats, as the expression goes, is the place for conversation, in relation to the ability to converse, dialogue, and speak with others, whether they are family or part of one’s social circle; fear of speaking, refusal to converse.

To play: to have a good time, to let time pass carefree

Cover: suffocating protection

Sport: If there is a moment when the body expresses itself, it is certainly during physical exercise. The dream invites the dreamer to flourish, to feel more at ease, to feel better in their own skin, as they say, by cultivating the good health of their body. Dreaming that one is doing sports or seeing the image of a stadium where athletes are training answers to this same interpretation.
Note, however, that sport is often linked to competition: the dream then translates the dreamer's desire to be valued.

Summarize:
You must take your destiny into your own hands, with all your abilities and weaknesses, your knowledge and your flaws. By seeking it out in the deepest part of yourself, of your being, and not leaving your life and your destiny to the whims of the wind and in the hands of others. You need to nourish your body and your mind with the essentials of life, such as love, knowledge, and understanding. And this does not happen in the way you would have wished it to, because loneliness and the lack of understanding from others are lacking. The need to talk, to express yourself, but it is not always easy, so you try to forget for a while, but the suffocating reality resurfaces. To forget this heaviness, the dream here encourages you to flourish, to feel more at ease by cultivating your body and your mind, and not to lag behind in the queue, because in life there are competitions and challenges.
Best regards
Ladysally

Thank you, ladysally,

I’m indeed at the point of asking myself who is in charge of my life?
Yes, we often make decisions based on others…

Kisses and see you later.
I have yet another dream to share with you (it’s been a series lately! I can’t believe I used to barely remember anything!!)

Hello my beautiful hihi

Thanks for the feedback on the dream interpretation, and if possible, please start a new discussion thread or post for each new dream, if you don’t mind.

With affection
Ladysally :-* :-* :-*

Hello Ladysally,

Another interesting or “disturbing” dream: it seems the series continues…

Here I am, at home in my kitchen; it’s a beautiful day, the sun is shining, and I’m going to have breakfast on the garden terrace with my two children.
We're not far from a school and I can hear the children playing. I move into the garden and I hear two voices in particular (the one of the man I love and the one of a woman who works with him). I get closer and I see a small white wooden fence surrounding the school. There are parents bringing their children to the school.
I set off again as if heading home. Behind me, I hear the man I love following me; he shouts loudly, “I’m in love… with myself.” He pretends not to look at me while continuing to follow me.
In the end, I see my daughter near me and my son moving ahead. There are buildings in front of me, and I have to cross them to get home. My son goes on his own and enters a first door.
I continue with my daughter and make my way around the building (I am still being followed by the man). There is a commotion: some teenagers are arguing in front of another entrance to the building (on an upper floor). People are coming out through the glass door in front of me, and I have trouble getting in. The man who had been following me ends up near me, opens the door, takes my hand, and says, "Come, I need to accompany you." We proceed floor by floor, not holding hands (I am holding my daughter's hand). We have to reach the fifth floor and go around to the other side of the building. We have to cross a railing (and therefore go over the void) to get to another railing: the man jumps, then grabs my daughter and tells me to jump: he catches me in his arms. We finally cross the building and enter through a door where no one is present and where calm reigns. We arrive at the apartment and I look for my son. He is there, having been waiting for a while.
My alarm clock then went off!!

What do you think? (I’m clarifying that the man I love really exists [a platonic relationship that, in my opinion, only works one way!!])
Thank you for your interpretation (yes, I am doing real work on my ways of being ever since I read your interpretations)

See you soon.

hello ladysally,

I already have a dream pending, but I will ask you for an interpretation of a somewhat frightening dream:

I saw myself talking to my mother, offering her something: she starts getting angry on her own and yelling at me; I then feel afraid, just like when I was a little girl, even though I am an adult.
She gets up and wants to throw something at me;
A man speaks to her and calms her down.

I head down the hallway and there, I get bitten by a dog (an English dog, tall, slender, and elegant); it refuses to let go; the same man comes over and strokes the dog’s head, which eventually releases me.
At the end of the hallway, I arrive in a room where I find my sister giving birth to a baby boy; it's a beautiful baby; my father watches us sitting in an armchair, he smiles; I take the baby in my arms, he talks to me, smiles.
So I give it to my sister, who then gives it to the breast;
I am at peace. The baby is talking, but I didn't catch what he was saying (next time, I'll take notes!!)

Strange, this dream, especially since it’s the first time I’ve argued with my mother.
All of this scares me!!

Thank you for your interpretation.

See you soon
