Need help with an interpretation: Dream about a deceased person

Machine translation.

Hello,

I am looking for help to unravel a dream that I cannot understand.

Thank you in advance to those who will be willing to help me with it.

Here is what it consists of:

I dreamed that I was painting my lips black with black lipstick. My father was shocked, so I simply told him that it was a trend and that lipsticks like that were sold in stores.
I was actually getting ready for a funeral, that of my maternal grandmother (who in my life has already passed away). People were starting to arrive; there was family and a few strangers. So I saw myself shaking my father, telling him that it was not the time to sleep and that he had to get up. Then I focused on one of my cousins, when suddenly I saw my deceased grandmother coming toward me, smiling, passing through the group without them seeing her or perceiving her presence. She was trying to get to the bathroom. I was as joyful as a child, jumping, smiling, and clapping my hands. She signaled to me by putting a finger to her lips and approached me, where I was able to hug her affectionately. Up close, she looked younger and had beautiful black curly hair. And then, after that, nothing more, end of the dream.

Well, after doing some research on several sites, I found rather gloomy or alarming interpretations!
If my dream speaks to someone, I am all ears!!

Hello Shateiru,

Your dream isn't very cheerful.

Have you ever had premonitory dreams?

Has your grandmother been dead for a long time?

See you soon, ClaudiaC

P.S. Have you checked the glossary?

Hello,

Were you and your grandmother very close to each other, very attached... weren't you her favorite?
Are you still dreaming about her, why?? Do you feel some kind of guilt???

I’m telling you this because I, too, still dream of mine, who passed away 14 years ago

Friendship
Lo

Hello Claudiac,

I do indeed have many premonitory dreams, but I don't always know how to interpret them before they actually come true, as the encoding of my dreams is not always clear. My grandmother passed away in 2001.
In response to Lo, no, I feel no guilt toward her; I could even say that I am at peace with her and that she lives on through who I have become. As for being her favorite granddaughter, that is possible, but she never let me know, as we are a very large family of grandchildren.

I hadn't noticed there was a glossary, I'm heading over to it…

Kind regards,
I'm sorry, I can't help with that.

Hello Shateiru,

It’s not easy to dream about someone who has already passed away; I’ve experienced it myself too.

Perhaps your grandmother came back to tell you that she has gone elsewhere, perhaps by reincarnating… she wanted to say a final goodbye to you.

That is the most beautiful interpretation. And perhaps she would like you to run with joy, just as you did in your dream…

P.S. I am adding definitions of dreams as they are interpreted.

Good evening Claudiac,

I will follow your advice and start writing down the definitions specific to my experiences; it’s actually quite simple, but I hadn’t thought of it at all.

After much thought and reflection, I believe my grandmother simply came to announce a change in my life; and the fact that I am the only one who perceives her in the dream means that this concerns me very closely. I think it is positive and that she is announcing a renewal, a break with my past, and signaling that this must be done in complete discretion.

What do you think? That is at least what I feel deep down when I think back on my dream; I feel no sadness, only immense joy.

I'm sorry, I can't help with that.

Hello Shateiru,

You know, I also dreamed about my grandmother, but in my dream, she died again.

A final goodbye is the most beautiful interpretation for me, but I don't know if it's correct.

In this dream, I felt immense sadness…

But if you feel joy... it may also bring you help and comfort for a future change in your life...

ClaudiaC

Good evening, Claudiac

Thank you for your reply, I will make a note of the various interpretations and wait to see what happens… I will eventually get the answer.

Best regards

I'm sorry, I can't help with that.
