I hope you're doing well. On my end, I'm really annoyed by a neighbor who is accusing me of something false. I'd like to know if she'll come to her senses on her own and stop bothering me, or if I really need to get angry for her to back off a bit?

I don't think your neighbor will come to her senses on her own, because she is a woman who will always try to have the last word!
My advisor tries not to get into conflict with her and ignores her!
What's the point of getting worked up… wouldn't that just be playing into her game of gossip and petty spite?!
