A child asks his father:
Dad, what's the secret to being happy?
So the father asks his son to follow him; they step out of the
the house, the father on their old donkey and the son following on foot.
And the people of the village said:
What a terrible father, forcing his son to walk!
Did you hear my son? Let's go home, said the father.
The next day they go out again, the father having set up his son
on the donkey and walking beside it.
The people of the village then said:
What an unworthy son, who does not respect his old father and leaves him to walk!
Did you hear my son? Let's go home.
The next day, they both mount the donkey before leaving the house.
The villagers commented, saying:
They don't respect their beast by overloading it like that!
Did you hear my son? Let's go home.
The next day, they set off carrying their own belongings, the donkey trotting behind them.
This time, the villagers found fault with it again:
So now they’re carrying their own luggage! It’s the
An upside-down world!
Did you hear my son? Let's go home.
Upon arriving home, the father said to his son:
You were asking me the other day for the secret to happiness.
No matter what you do, there will always be someone to find fault with it. Do what you like and you will be happy.
Have a good day***************Marylena
