Help with my daughter's dream, thank you

Hello
My daughter has already had this dream two or three times, which scares me a lot
She escapes her brother's watch, who tells her to stay there.
It's evening and her father is waving a knife at me; he is very angry. She steps in between him and me, and her father stabs her in the stomach.
She is in a lot of pain upon waking, crying and completely frightened (she is 8 years old).
I no longer know how to talk to him.
What is happening inside her?
She has nightmares often (she wakes up almost every night but doesn't remember all of them), but this one is more striking than the others; it must seem more real to her given her state upon waking.
