Complicated dream * * * ok

I would like to get help with my dream because I am unable to interpret it myself. Here is what it consists of:

I dreamed that while I was at the table (it was an invitation to a meal), there was an old friend (whom I no longer see at all) to my left and her husband next to her. I think we were at her husband’s parents’ house; it seems to me that it was his mother who had sent the invitation.
So I can see myself at some point telling her husband that she was capable of managing on her own and being independent (or at least something like that), and then there was a zoom on her husband’s eyes. I could see very clearly large, well-defined, thick blond eyebrows and large almond-shaped eyes with very long, very blond lashes framing her blue eyes, and his gaze was evasive.
Then it seems to me that he is chasing me, but after that it’s no longer very clear; I’m on a mezzanine surrounded by staircases.
My dream transitioned into a different story; I see myself sitting in the lotus position. I just remember that I was expressing a request, somewhat like a prayer, and the more I prayed, the more I multiplied, and my doubles ascended toward a celestial vault. This phenomenon frightened me a little, so I stopped.
Following that, one of them came back to me; we were all wearing simple cotton robes. He tried to wrench four or five rings off my right ring finger (they were wide, polished silver rings; the third one was silver with white enamel and a red frieze, but I no longer remember the design).
I had to struggle and resist very hard to keep my rings on my finger, because I knew he needed those rings to take my place.
