Good evening, everyone,
A son's conversation with his father…
A man arrives home one evening, tired after a hard day's work,
to find his five-year-old son sitting on the front porch steps.
- Dad, can I ask you a question?
- Of course!
- How much do you earn per hour?
- But that's none of your business, son!
- I just want to know. Please, tell me!
- Well, if you absolutely want to know. $35.00 an hour.
The little boy goes back into the house with a sad look.
He turns back to his father and asks him:
- Dad, could you lend me $10.00?
- Well, that’s why you wanted to know.
To borrow money from me! - Go to your room and go to bed.
I had a tough day,
I am tired and I have no desire to be pestered with such nonsense.
An hour later, the father, who had had time to decompress a bit
wondered if he had overreacted to his son's request.
Maybe he really did want to buy something important…
He therefore decides to go to the little one's room.
- Are you asleep, son?
- No, Dad!
- Listen, I’ve thought about it and here’s the $10.00 you asked me for.
- Oh, thank you, Dad!
The little guy rummages under his pillow and pulls out $25.00.
The father, upon seeing the money, becomes even more irritated.
- But why did you want $10.00?
You have $25.00! What do you want to do with this money? - It’s just that… I was missing some. But now, I have just enough.
- Dad… could I buy an hour of your time?
Tomorrow evening, come home earlier, I’d like to have dinner with you!!!
Always take the time to get closer to the people you love!
