Your interpretations

Machine translation.

Hello, dear dreamers!

As I had anticipated, without knowing quite how to go about it, I am opening this new thread for you to come and share your own interpretations.
Your dreams that you translate yourselves.
I am thus trying to enliven this forum. May it not be merely a given dream and a translation, but a genuine exchange.
How do you approach your dreams, what they represent to you, etc.?

It's an attempt I'm making. It's up to each of us to contribute a little water to the mill.

This is where you post your suggestions and questions, and everyone shares their opinion.

I am offering here not to translate, but simply to help you find your own answers.
Doing it over chat would have been more direct, but nothing is kept there.
This will be kept, if you please, for what is constructive and useful to everyone.
If the debates get a bit out of hand, I will then take the liberty of removing the off-topic content.

I await your opinions on the matter, and of course, yours first, Tom, our administrator, namely whether the “project” is viable or not.

Best regards
Kind regards

Hi, here are some very special dreams I had
I dream that someone is knocking on my door at night. I get up and go to check, but there is no one there. The next day or two days later, I am informed of someone’s death. This has happened at the deaths of my parents and my granddaughter, as well as my grandmother, and also regarding the accident and the illness. It presents itself to me in this way. What does this mean? Thank you.

Hello Chantal!

To strike (Knocks at a Door):
Hearing him We will learn new things.

That's the definition.
The problem for you is that the news you received afterward was terrible.

Now, it remains to be seen whether you have had this kind of dream only when deaths or illnesses are announced.

I am not a specialist in premonitory dreams, so I have brought your dream to this thread to open it up to other opinions and to allow for potential exchanges on the subject.

Sincerely.

I would like to continue my reply to Mamyole's message from January 5, 2008, at 2:03 AM. Can multiple people interpret a dream? The answer is yes, because one must not confuse interpreting a dream with analyzing a dream. Interpreting a dream can be done in a few minutes; it means translating words, knowing that each word may have five translations at times. Analyzing a dream is different; it takes hours, or even days in some cases. Analysis equals the logic of the various elements to be processed; it takes time because one must question the dreamer to get details: colors, numbers, clean, dirty, and so on. A dream is like a Sudoku: there are numbers, but nothing to calculate, meaning that one must be logical within oneself from the start. One must be sensitive, because the dream comes from an external person, and often from a deceased relative, near or far. The analysis of a dream must come from a single person; it seems to me that this is a certainty... but not the interpretation. Ismael

Great initiative, mam
This thread is for talking about your dreams and their interpretations.

I will get back to this one

because the exchange will be beneficial

Hello,

I know that Mamyol is taking a break from his "dream interpretations," so I will post it and try to interpret it myself with all the detachment I can muster. I am very sad about this dream. That is why I am not doing well.

Here is my dream:

I am on the balcony of my apartment.
I want to go into the apartment, and my husband, who is inside, slams the door between the kitchen and the balcony shut so violently that the door’s glass shatters. There are shards everywhere, and since I’m barefoot, I can’t even get into the apartment—on the one hand because of the debris, and on the other because my husband is there and practically forbids me from entering.

And I wake up.

Here is my interpretation:
Despite all my will to save my marriage, my husband has such strong reactions toward me that the glass between us (which I shattered within myself) has broken.

The glass shards I have to walk over to get into the apartment are a sign that I would not like to think about all the damage that has been done. Such damage that I can barely walk anymore. And on top of that, I have to talk to my husband with all the strength I have.

Walking on debris means that in order to move forward in my life, I have to injure my feet and, consequently, my entire being.

I am alone in this dream. Just as I am alone in having to walk upon its ruins.

Hello Claudiac!

I took the liberty of bringing your dream back to this thread since you had already interpreted it yourself.
Your dream is thus open to discussion.

Are you quoting from dictionary definitions, or is it just your own intuition?

What do you expect from us following your interpretation: definitions or something else?

Best regards

Hello Mamyol,
I just noticed that you moved this dream—I thought you had deleted it
I was away for a few days and just saw your post.

To answer your questions:

  • I went by my own intuition – having never worked with a dictionary
  • I simply wanted to “get rid of” this dream by writing it down—I didn’t want to “keep it in memory.”

As I wrote it, I more or less understood it… and I expect nothing. Only the future will tell me whether it is a premonitory dream.

Thank you,
Kind regards
ClaudiaC

Dear Claudia,

I just read your dream interpretation. I’m not a dream expert, but reading your description, I don’t find what I feel when I read it… Perhaps it would be good for you to entrust this to an expert, or at least a practitioner of dream interpretation, so that you can approach and understand this dream with peace of mind.

I kiss you

Hello Lolly,
I am anything but serene these days.
And all I want is for there to be no more mistakes regarding me.

ClaudiaC

I really feel like I’m surrounded by nothing but debris.

I am as sad and helpless as in my dream, and this comes with a strong sense of incomprehension; I do not need an interpretation to understand these emotions.

Good evening,

I am sharing this dream with you:
A black kitten tugs at the corner of my duvet while I am in bed. I pull on the duvet and the kitten falls. I hear it meow, see it fall, and then it goes under the bed..
I am waking up

I checked the glossary and found the following definitions:

Dreaming of a cat is often a sign of romantic betrayal.

To see or hear a cat meow is a sign of gossip, slander, or calumny.

A cat that rubs against you, you must be wary of hypocrisy or the betrayal of a close one.

A cat that scratches you indicates that you will be the victim of adultery.

Killing a cat announces triumph over a rival.

Looking at these definitions, this dream would indicate that I am (have been) a victim of romantic betrayal and slander.

Good evening Claudiac!

What's great about you is that you post the dream and its translation at the same time, which means I have nothing left to do! lol!

However, I notice that, as usual, you only look at and retain a single definition of a dream—the most negative one—rather than gathering all its elements to gain an overall perspective that would allow you to move forward positively.
As for the cat, I have no objection to the definition our friend Magic gave us, it’s just simplified. The one I have for it takes up a whole page.
Not to mention that you're not taking into account the fact that your (black) cat lands under the bed!
At least, by making your own interpretations, if there’s a mistake, you won’t be able to blame anyone for lying to you. That’s a serious advantage for us. Hehe!

Friendship

In any case, I will no longer post any dream interpretation requests here… I’ve completely lost the desire to do so. In fact, I’d even prefer not to know about them anymore.

I will live much more freely.

Hello Claudiac!

I know that, unlike me, who never takes anything seriously, you meticulously keep a journal of your dreams.
I am also taking a paragraph from “Achieve Your Dreams” on another site:

Through your dream journal, you can thus learn to collaborate closely with your deeper self. And your conscious mind will gradually expand its domain, bringing unconscious areas of the shadow into the light.

However, do not show your dream journal to anyone. It is your most intimate writing; it reveals your depths. You write it for yourself and no one else.

Certainly, you can talk about your dreams with someone who is as interested in the subject as you are. A good exchange of ideas is always beneficial. But do not go so far as to entrust your dream journal to someone else. If you write it with the idea that someone else might read it, even someone very close to you, you will inevitably be inhibited.

What matters is that your dreams allow you to see your path and make progress on it. They are important only to you.
I simply help those who ask me to understand their own transcripts, and once the transcription is done, I forget about them, as they are of no interest to me since they do not concern me.

Very friendly

Hello Mamyol,
I haven't kept a journal since… August 2007.
I did start one, but then I stopped keeping track of them.
I dream of one of those quantities and have been having nightmares almost all of them lately… I’d rather not know my way around anymore.
