Thought of the day

Machine translation.

    bonjour à tous,

La voix du ciel, c'est vaincre sans lutter
    Convaincre sans parler
    Faire venir sans appeler
    Réaliser dans la sérénité

   (Lao Tseu)

    Maryléna

Focus on the present day,
for if yesterday is nothing but a dream,
Tomorrow is nothing but a vision.
If you see the present day,
will make every yesterday a dream of happiness
and a vision of hope for your future.
So, deal with the present day.

(Sanskrit Proverb)

Good evening, Mamyol!

The present must be lived as a page one turns in one's past.
A dream is often nothing but an illusion and a vision akin to a memory.
Yesterday and today could be conjugated, provided that we draw positive lessons from the past, and that is what will lead us to a vision of hope and happiness that will make our present and the present day a day of light.

The magician.

Hello everyone, I wanted to share this story with you.

An Indian water carrier had two large jars suspended at the two ends of a piece of wood that fit the shape of his shoulders.

One of the jugs had a chip, and while the other jug perfectly preserved all its spring water all the way to the master’s house, the other jug lost almost half of its precious cargo along the way.
It lasted for 2 years, during which, every day, the water carrier delivered only one and a half of water on each of his trips.
Of course, the perfect jar was proud of itself, since it managed to fulfill its function from start to finish without a single flaw.
But the cracked pot was ashamed of its imperfection and felt depressed because it could only accomplish half of what it was supposed to be capable of.
After two years of what she considered a permanent failure, the cracked jar spoke to the water bearer as he was filling her at the spring.

I feel guilty, and I ask you to forgive me.

"Why?" asked the water carrier.
What are you ashamed of?

I managed to bring only half of my water load to the master during these two years, because of this crack that makes the water leak. It is my fault that you make all these efforts and, in the end, you deliver only half of the water to our master.
"You don't get full recognition for your efforts," the damaged jar said.
The water carrier was moved by this confession and, full of compassion, replied: “While we return to the master’s house, I want you to look at the magnificent flowers by the roadside.”
As they climbed the path up the hill, the old pot saw beautiful sun-drenched flowers lining the roadside, which lifted its spirits. But by the end of the journey, it still felt just as bad because it had lost half of its water again.
The carrier says to the jar:
Did you realize that there were beautiful flowers only on your side, and almost none on the side of the perfect jar?
It’s because I always knew you were losing water, and I took advantage of it.
I planted flower seeds on your side of the road, and every day, you watered them along the way.
For two years, thanks to you, I have been able to pick beautiful flowers that decorated the host’s table. Without you, I would never have been able to find such fresh and graceful flowers.

Moral of the story:
We all have flaws, wounds, and imperfections.
defects.
We are all broken jars.

Some of us are diminished by old age, others are overweight or too thin, some are bald, others are physically impaired, but these are the facets within us that make our lives interesting and exhilarating.
It is better to take others as they are and see what is good and positive in them.
There is a lot of positivity everywhere.
There is a lot of good in you.

Those who are flexible are lucky not to be deformed. Remember to appreciate all the different people who populate your life!
Without them, life would be very sad.

Please kindly appreciate my imperfections and, more importantly…
..To learn to love yours..

Thank you all for being here.

Marie.

Hi Marie and Magic!

Hehe, Marie! I've already read this somewhere very recently!

Citation:

There are two days a week when we shouldn’t worry,
2 days without apprehension or fear.
The first one was yesterday, with the mistakes made,
Mistakes, regrets, and pains.
Yesterday is past and now beyond our control
Forever. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday.
It is impossible to resume an action
or to erase a word.

Yesterday is past!

The other day that shouldn't worry us is tomorrow;
with its impossible adversaries, its burdens,
its promises of hope and its lack of control
Tomorrow, the sun will rise in all its splendor
or behind a mask of clouds.
But be assured, he will rise!
And before he gets up, there's nothing to be done,
for the day has not yet been born.

So today is all that's left.

Each of us can face the battles of the day.
It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday
to those of tomorrow whom we cannot continue.
It is not the everyday experiences
that lead to madness.
These are the regrets of yesterday accompanied by the fears of tomorrow.

So we must live one day at a time!

Good morning, my dear Mamy

Happy to read your posts again, so expressive
of truth.
If we could erase the past, that would be wonderful
Every day would be a new enriching experience

Stop thinking about yesterday; yes, to do that, you need to take each problem one at a time, resolve it, and move on.

So as not to carry the burden of our past stories on our poor shoulders, to move forward in life without remorse, without regrets, to take one step after another while remaining confident in ourselves in the face of tomorrow's life.

Thank you, Mamy, and all of you.

Recently, and thanks to all of you, I am slowly getting back on my feet and walking; before, I was only running…

Very friendly

Marie
