Love
Sunbeams that flood
The heart of the one who receives,
And which are reflected in the wave,
Tears born of our joy.
A gentle warmth that spreads
From the one who gives so much,
To the one who smiles often,
From mother to little child.
Indestructible life force,
Who does the most horrible harm,
The very instrument of his designs,
Whose man ignores the divine plan.
Heavenly peace falling as rain,
On the good and the bad,
Making one of them his apprentice,
And on the other side, his instrument.
Taking men by the hand,
He leads them to a woman,
And form a sovereign couple,
Every day he makes a soul of himself.
From his works the child shall be born,
Who will carry to the bottom of the eyes,
All the toil of the lovers,
The spark of the firmament.
From his work shall peace be born,
What all who love will know,
Beyond the opposite sex,
For you reap what you sow.
And if two is the number of love,
The multitude is its breeding ground,
Where do velvet flowers grow,
Watered by these few words.
