One night, Confucius dreamed that he was taken to see the damned in hell.
To his great surprise, hell was a splendid banquet hall.
The damned were gathered around a table groaning under the weight of the most exquisite dishes.
They were allowed to eat anything, but only with chopsticks that were a meter and a half long.
They would all starve to death, staring at the dishes in anguish, while knowing that even with eternity before them, the problem was unsolvable.
Then Confucius arrives in heaven.
It is an identical banquet hall, filled with delicious dishes.
The guests are happy and well fed.
They are also subject to the same rules: eating only with chopsticks that are one meter fifty long.
They seemed serene, however.
They had grasped the essence.
They were feeding each other…
I like to nurture life
I like feeding us
I like to feed you
Best to you, best to me, best to you all…
