Regularly in my dreams...

Machine translation.

Good evening, everyone!

I will try to explain to you what happens very regularly in my dreams for almost 6 or 7 years now.

It was my teenage love, which, by the way, I have never forgotten… even though nothing concrete ever happened (for stupid reasons). Our paths diverged, but we continued to see each other without speaking for several years afterward. Perhaps the most important thing to mention is that I have always felt connected to him; when I looked at him, I had the impression of seeing far beyond his eyes, and despite the distance and the years during which we no longer spoke, I feel as though I have never left him.

Naturally, I began to dream of him; for a very long time, he retained in my dreams the attitude he had when I happened to see him: silent, his deep gaze fixed on me with that glint that made me think of resentment.
Then his attitude gradually changed: I could see him smiling at me, there was tenderness in his eyes. But he still didn't speak.
A few years later, I finally had that first dream where he spoke… I was in a half-sleep and I felt him lean toward me to whisper, “I will always come back to you.” I woke up in tears. Then there were a few more dreams where he spoke to me, read me letters, and each time he told me he loved me, that he hadn’t forgotten me.

And all these dreams, like the few chance encounters, occurred at times in my life when I believed I was in love and was about to start a relationship… so to speak, they blew everything up every single time!

So what do you think about this recurring presence and its evolution?

Good evening.
Amandine

Hello Amandine,
I would not like to replace our friends Mamyol or Ladysally in dream interpretations.
Just wanted to let you know that I understand why you might dream about your first love. These dreams keep coming back.
Have you been in touch with him? Have you seen him even once since all those years?
I had a similar dream myself… not that he was smiling at me, but that he was completely absent from my dream, which means he is absent in real life too… The dream hurt, but it was true.
Maybe it’s the opposite for you, and you hope to see him again one day, and you do see him, and he smiles at you.
What do you think?

Good evening ClaudiaC,

Your remark is very apt; deep down, he has never stopped occupying my thoughts. I’ve run into him quite regularly over the past 10 years, but neither of us has ever had the courage to reach out to the other…
And my dreams about him have always happened at times when I thought I had forgotten him and was about to embark on another relationship. So I don't really know what to think.
And you're right on one point, I hope to see him again... but unfortunately, I'm waiting for more than just a smile!
See you soon,

Amandine

Hello Amandine,
I understand that you want to see him again and that you would like more than just a smile from him.
I didn't really interpret your dream for you, I just tried to give you a hint.
You dream of him when you think you’ve forgotten him…

I’m not going to go into the details, but just let you know that I completely understand you.

Kind regards,
ClaudiaC
